Er war der <a href="Leadgitarrist" title="Leadgitarrist">Leadgitarrist</a> der britischen <a href="Rockband" title="Rockband">Rockband</a> <a href="Gang_of_Four" title="Gang of Four">Gang of Four</a>, die er 1976 mitbegründete. <p>Gill war mit Catherine Mayer, einer Journalistin, verheiratet. Gills Tod wurde von Mitgliedern seiner Band am 1.
